Bikano , India’s favourite snack and packaged food manufacturing company, has recently relaunched a wide selection of their sharbat range for the summer of 2022. Of these Rose Syrup, Orange Sharbat, Khusth Syrup, Jeera Shikanji, Badam Brahmhi, and Thandai Kesaria are the chief ones, and they look even more fetching in their new packaging that is sleek and has easy-to-grip bottle caps.
Since summers are the best time to indulge in a variety of sharbat to stay cool, refreshed and hydrated, what is better than choosing from the vast array of Bikano sharbat , especially in their new avatar? They have it all, from subtle jeera and badam flavours to the popular rose and khus ones.
Bikano sharbat is now available with new packaging
Manish Aggarwal, Director of the company, says, “This summer is the first since 2020 that people will enjoy with their family and friends. Gradually, our lives seem to be returning to the pre-Covid routine with the offices, schools, colleges, and varying modes of transport are opening up. Hopefully, people will leave their houses more often. When they visit their loved ones, they will indulge in refreshing glasses of Bikano sharbat. So we wanted to welcome this change with a brand new look for our sharbat collection. We just wanted to add a new spin by making the bottles extremely sleek, while the new bottle caps are easier to grip and open now than ever. ”
Dawinder Pal, head of marketing at the company, says, “Summers for Bikano are always brighter thanks to the wide popularity of our vast range of sharbat. Even this year, due to the fact that people will gradually be returning to visiting their friends and family more than during the pandemic and even taking family vacations together, we are speculating that we will notch up substantial sales this year. As it is, Bikano sharbat is best enjoyed in the company of loved ones in the summers. With the new packaging, we are hoping to usher in more refreshing times for our consumers and Bikano.”
The Covid-19 pandemic led to the country-wide lockdown on 25 March 2020. It will be two years tomorrow as I write this. What have we learned in this time? Maybe the meaning of resilience since small companies like us have had to rely on our resources and the forbearance of our employees as we have struggled to produce our trade platforms.
The print and packaging industries have been fortunate, although the commercial printing industry is still to recover. We have learned more about the digital transformation that affects commercial printing and packaging. Ultimately digital will help print grow in a country where we are still far behind in our paper and print consumption and where digital is a leapfrog technology that will only increase the demand for print in the foreseeable future.
Web analytics show that we now have readership in North America and Europe amongst the 90 countries where our five platforms reach. Our traffic which more than doubled in 2020, has at times gone up by another 50% in 2021. And advertising which had fallen to pieces in 2020 and 2021, has started its return since January 2022.
As the economy approaches real growth with unevenness and shortages a given, we are looking forward to the PrintPack India exhibition in Greater Noida. We are again appointed to produce the Show Daily on all five days of the show from 26 to 30 May 2022.
